Based in Melbourne, Interior Designstein loves all things colour and texture in contemporary Australian spaces.
Founder and qualified Interior Stylist, Aisha started her career in IT, being a software programmer for about 7 years. In 2011 she decided to take a break and go back to studying. With two young boys at home Aisha wanted to do something that was more relaxed and creative so she started Interior Design and Decoration course at RMIT. Even though those three years at the University were not relaxing she persisted through and completed the course with remarkable results. Since completion of the course Aisha has been working in the industry to help clients in styling for magazines, commercial styling and editorial styling, new home builds, renovations & styling existing spaces.
Aisha loves to play with colour, texture, scale and pattern in each space. She is not a fan of clutter neither of minimalist interiors… key is keeping the balance with enough items and accessories around the space so it feels homely and not sterile.
Aisha has worked with many local Australian brands such as Greenhouse Interiors, Designer Rugs, Sage and Clare, Adele Naidoo and Georgie Wilson to name a few. Her work has been published in House & Garden, Herald Sun, Daily Telegraph, Sunday Mail, The Design Files, Interiors Addict and Inside Out.
